What We Offer

At Shining Stars, we make every effort to be as flexible as possible for the parents of the children in our care.

Shining Stars Early Childhood Centre provides care for toddlers (1.5-3 years) and pre-school aged children (3-4 years). We also offer an afternoon club service for your children.

Shining Stars ECC has a child-centred philosophy. We believe that every child is unique and learns differently. In our centre a warm, nurturing and safe environment is provided for all our little stars.

All our staff in Shining Stars strive to teach children; to respect themselves, others and their environment, to provide for all areas of a child’s development, to develop creativity and critical thinking skills in each child, to provide for a child’s emotional and social development, to provide resources for parents, to involve our community in child’s learning and, to act as a support system for staff and families.

We operate the British National Curriculum Framework for all children aged 1.5-4 years of age, where learning through play is highlighted. We believe that children learn the best through play. We also believe that communication and working with parents is very important and beneficial for all children.

At Shining Stars we communicate with parents through the App called ‘Little Lives’ where your child’s daily learning and developmental progress is stored and shared with parents on daily basis.

All our staff, are qualified, professional, police vetted, experienced and highly skilled.
